A Long Walk"Revelation, enlightenment, and awakening are all words used to describe something that, for all the effort spent on them, are improbable to attain. They are never achieved through will alone, or through a life spent in humility; predictability is something they lack. No, they are not the aftermath of training, or found during a quiet moment spent in one's mind, study of a text, or correspondence with the Misunderstood. If ever you have a revelation, become enlightened, or awaken you mind, it is an accumulation of a lifetime of experience, brought to fruition by the dance of a butterflA Long Walk


A Double-takeA man once arose before the Pearly Gates and made his way to Saint Peter, who smiled and welcomed him by name into the Kingdom of Heaven. The man smiled and followed Peter toward the city, and just before he passed the final threshold, he glanced back to see the others that had received the same ultimate reward for a life of servitude to God. Memoirs of a Prophet, pt. IThe first impressions of Earth from a space-born child are rather strange, for though the landscape is utterly alien and colored in greens and blues and browns, one feels familiarity in the thick crowding of life where we had grown as a race.
